| My name is Rasmus. I am a 36 year old danish guy that currently live in Bangkok with my sweet and lovely (she could be reading this) thai wife. Living in Bangkok, most people would expect me to tour the
nightschene, visiting the paradise beaches, swallowing colorful drinks under the palms escaping the pressing heat of the thai sun and society. Not quite, in fact I am more white (and fat) than ever, sitting in front of my monitor
all day long day after day writing on my precious namespace with the only exercise tamping the keyboard (which I am pretty good at). Was it not for the swimming pool downstairs nothing would be different, as I am too lasy to use the pool anyway.

| My story as a programmer started for not so many years ago, then I in the age of 29 finished a reseach project at the university and decided to change my life completely - to become a programmer. Looking in the backmirror of my new car in spe (the poor peoples favourite brand), that decision still seems like something of the best I have ever done (except for choosing my snooping wife of course). |

This is my wife, she is 30 years and has just finished a bachelor degree, this picture is from a pre ceremony - some things are strange here in LOS (we who are in the circle of knowing better than others need a way to find each other, thats why I use the short LOS for Land Of Smile, as that is what we call Thailand in these inner circles). My wife has her own webdesign company and as she said then we fell in love, she don't like programming, but she love programmer.

| Right now we live in a
"condo", I am not sure about the connotations of "condo" in the ears
of native english speakers, however in denmark "condo" sounds like a
spicy yet luxurious apartment to live out ones bachelor fantasies,
unfortunately in Bangkok they do not at all share that probably misunderstanding of the word, instead
"condo" is here a rather small place to enjoy should you even have only a small pile of luxury (which luckily we do not have). Therefore we plan to move in with some friends, who have a house a significant number of rice fields from Bangkok, in fact we move in September. Did I say that the thai man of the house by a lucky coincidence also is a programmer and that the woman of the house startet (and still is the main force in) implementing online teaching of nurses in Thailand. |
